Ohio recognizes every other state's valid CCW license. Permitless carry is legal for adults 21+ not otherwise prohibited.

Notable Ohio restrictions

  • Permitless carry for qualified adults 21+ (active-duty military 18+) since June 2022
  • Per SB 215 (2022), duty to proactively notify was removed
