Notable Louisiana restrictions
- Permitless carry effective July 4, 2024 for those 18+ who can lawfully possess a firearm
- Out-of-state permit holders must be 21+ to use reciprocity

- Reciprocity is mutual: LA honors only states that honor a LA permit
